hey guys,

The more I read posts and sigs on here, the more I see about everyone having a FMIC. My question is, what do you guys do for piping since IC kits are hard to find for the CA. Do you buy mandrel bands and get them welded or what? If so, where do you get the bends and where do you route your piping (there are no 240s near me with FMICs so I dont know exactly where it goes.

Thanks-Ian

I got mine on ebay and it was pretty decent sized and it came with the hot pipe, wich most of them don't. I liked it and it was only like $600 for the whole thing shipped and the guy gave me an oil catch can to boot. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...04789

Sorry for all the questions but I would like to be as knnowledeable (sp?) as possible before dropping over $600 on ebay.

thanks!-Ian

Shipping was included. No, no spot for a BOV, but thats nothing major really. The majority of the time that I spent fitting it was cutting the whole in the bottom of the battery tray. Other than that it didn't take too long. For what I paid for it, I'm satisfied. The fitment wasn't perfect, but I got one for an S15, so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. He doesn't have them for the CA, so I had to go that route. I will try and get pics ASAP. My friend dropped his digicam at a halloween party and now it doesn't work. It's underwarrenty, so he just has to go get a new one. hope this helps!

Also remember, that this kit CAME WITH THE HOT PIPE FROM THE TURBO! Most of your other FMIC kits, don't come with that.

I bought a GReddy VSPL kit for an S13 SR. Fit was great and the only modification was to the cold pipe. I just cut it with a dremel about 5 inches from the end, twisted it around, and put a 3 inch silicone coupler on it, works great for me.

705 shipped for GReddy VSPL113 shipped for Greddy HotPipe

818 total for a full intercooler kit with blinging pipe.

Nope... no more ghetto fabulous here! An actual real kit! I have some work to clean up on the car as well Jon, I want to get all that wiring along the brake lines along the back of the firewall cleaned up and also start on a newer, bigger intake pipe. Call me when you get a day off, I am off Wed and Thur this week, same as always.

I have my ornament cover "modified" for ventilation, but I lost the damn bolts!!! So just a few more things to clean up and it will start to be somewhat respectable.

Joe
