I recently discovered that a hose was leaking in my engine. This is a Ka24E.The 2 hoses in question are right behind the thermostat housing. Im in the process of removing them. The only problem is that I have no idea what they are called, so I dont know what to ask for when I go buy them. Can I just find a hose that happens to fit into this area?

Here I have pointed to the 2 hoses.

Here is another pic where I somewhat traced the path of the hose

Any help would be appreciated.

Those are your coolant hoses. I believe Nissan calls them "water hoses"

OEM Part #s based of carfiche.com:Hose 1: 14056-40F00Hose 2: 14055-40F00

You can order it directly from a Nissan dealership, or some of the sponsors on this forums, including us - you just have to call.

Might want to get new clamps for those also, I'm not crazy about the OEM ones, especially after 16 some odd years.

Good luck!QV

now may be a good time to replace a bunch of hoses down there. they're old and probably pretty brittle by now. have downtime once and sit back as you see other folks post problems about having more reoccuring problems later that did the job half arsed. lol

Another way is to bring the water lines/hoses with you to the dealership/parts store.
