My '89 240 SX fastback has these belts in the back seat that look like seperate shoulder belts, but there's nowhere to plug them into. Maybe they're for a child seat or something. Does anyone else have them, and what are they?

Also, on the front end there's this rubber thing in what looks like it should be the intake for the radiator. What is it, and would removing it improve air flow through the engine compartment, and if so, how do I remove it?

Those seatbelts come in different trim 240, I forget which ones though. It's not for a child seat though.

Those "vents" are there for design purposes. Your bumper is called the "pignose" design. It's just stuck on there with some adhesive. You can take it off and cut the piece behind it, so that air can go through. Just leave it alone. Looks fine that way.

Pignose for life!! Hahaha, well, I sold my s13 though.

So what are the seatbelts supposed to plug into?

There should be a part of the bottom seatbelt that the piece you pictured "hooks" onto.

Nope. must've been replaced with the wrong one.

If anyone has this problem in the future:

There's three connected holes under the webbing of the lower seatbelt tab. The round bit on the upper tab fits into the middle hole, then slides over to the other hole (which is smaller, so it can't get out).
