...the little plugs that hold down the stuff in the trunk and engine, & where can I get them?

Also, the ones that hold the carpet down are slightly different, how do you get those out? Do you simply pop them out? A special way? Is it a one time shot thing where I'll have to replace them if I take them out?

Been looking into this since last night for you since I'm always on Ebay trying to find new sh*t for the M!!
Since you mentioned trunk and engine bay I believe you meant to include "plastic"clips?
So I'm not on my PC so can't post a direct link, sorry but EBAY had what is called OEM Infiniti Nissan 8mm interior exterior push clips on sale for $9+$4 shipping only ten but if you call the dealer I'm sure it'll be more.. Lol
Let me know of you can't find them I'll try and get the link... I use my Android phone Ebay app and pay Paypal it's super easy!! Buying sh*t is just a click away!! :bigthumb:

Expansion clips. I am sure that the dealer won't sell you any separately though, they probably come with the engine cover assembly. The things on the mats are grommets, if yours tore out of the mats like mine you will need half inch black grommets. You can find these items at a hardware store or auto parts store that has the bins for nuts and bolts.

Thanks, I just ordered the push clips. Interesting, circle-infiniti is the seller. So, simple grommets are the black things that holds the carpet in place? Mine didnt tear out, I'm planning on taking up the carpet in some places to run wire. How easy is it to remove these grommets, or do they break when you remove them? Also what is the best metal/carpet glue to use for the portions of the carpet that is held down by glue?

fwiw, I was at the dealer for other work and asked the parts guy if could buy some of those clips. He just gave me a handful of used ones they had in a box. They were kind of cruddy, but all worked fine.
