don't take 'em off -- you'll get an awful wind noise.

Window guides. In case the wind deflects the window while it is on the way up, it is guided into proper postion.

I've never seen anything like these in other cars.Look like a patch which eases wind noise after the cars were built.Are they included in the cars when Versa was first sold?

Don't know -- only know that either mine wasn't put on properly or I knocked one off while scraping the window one frosty morning and my window didn't close properly.

OK . . . window guide makes more sense.

Yes they were on the car originally. My V was purchased in Oct 2006 and it has them. Currently hidden by the window visors tho.
