What are these? suction cup thingies

OK, so I have this 2-seater Z that I tore the diff and brakes out of for my 240sx. I was in the process of pulling some parts from the interior to list up on ebay and found these suction cups and brackets under the drivers side shock cover panels. They were wrapped in bubble wrap and also in a plastic pouch. Are these for holding the t-tops in place when they are not in use? They dont appear to have ever been used. Just curious if they are anything cool, lol. Also, if anyone needs some interior panels or parts let me know I have an entire car that I am trying to get rid of lol.

They are only part of the full headlight aiming kit, the dealer is supposed to have the other parts to the kit to be able to aim your headlights.

ive needed to aim mine since last year when i installed my HIDs, and ive just been putting it off because i couldnt get the pannel off to get to the headlinght aiming tools, let alone use them properly.

oh ok. i guess that makes sense. i saw the suction cup and assumed they were used to hold the t-top in place in the trunk or something lol
