How do you know they are for a CA; did you try bolting them on?

Yes I did try both of them on and they bolt fine. it just both have different angle for the turbo. the brown one looks like the more common one i see on ca.

You can see difference in first picture and where the collector gather the brown has a big hump and angle down more.

Coud be a FWD unit. They might have to tip the turbo up away from a motor mount. It could also be from an S12. They had a different intake with no intercooler so they might have had a different exhaust manifold as well.

if that is indeed an FWD one...i could reaallly....reallllllllyyy....use that. (kn13 + ca18det + RWD mani = outlet bangs into transmission mount...)

To me, the brown one looks like a RWD manifold, and the black one looks like a FWD manifold. Although, I though the FWD manifold had the collector centered, so maybe TMS is on to something with it being for an S12.

The SR20 FWD is hung in the center so there is reason to expect the CA18 might as well.

SR20's and CA18's are both "hung?" Naw, only the CA is "hung," lol.

I think madscientist is right tho...the AWD one's ive seen in person the turbo mount is moved closer to the middle. Maybe that one IS from a ca18et powered s12? Tho i personally have never seen a FWD one, i can't imagine there would be a whole lot of difference btwn AWD and FWD...

CA18ET has paired ports, no... It's a DET manifold, but I think he may have been referring to the CA18DET that came in the S12 (MK2 RSX), as it was a bit of an odd-ball CA18DET.
