So I am driving home from work like any other day. I look next to me on the highway and there is a kid giving me the thumbs up! I was like ok...

Turns out it was the same exact pearl white with chrome 03 m45. Pretty cool. We were next to each other on the highway for a while. We went through the tolls together and rocketed out next to each other.

It was pretty cool. ...for this car being so rare.

Driving in St.Louis i have seen about 4 different 03/04 m's, but the people driving them are their 50's. Nothing wrong with that but i wonder if there's anyone here that's younger than 40 like myself..?

I am 28 and I just picked up an M35 for "work purposes" but I typically get my kicks with my Z-06. Life is Good..!

I am 21 and most of the people i have seen driving the M are in their 30 or 40s. My brother used to say the M was a Grandpa car, when he drove it he immediately changed his mind. He owns a 08 550i and he thought he could smoke the M by a long distance. Last weekend we were messing around on I-55 and im pretty proud to say that the M performed extremely well. I did lose but its because he has a manual trans and at higher speeds (100+) the M45 cant keep up and not to mention the extra 20 ponies on the 550i. At lower speeds both cars performs almost the same. At a stop light, we both punched it and my M's front bumper was by his door handle before we had to stop for the next red light. i love the straight line performance in our m45s

I am 25 and absolutely love the car! I live in NH and hate the way it drives in the snow, but I have just learned to deal with it because I love it so much. I found it on eBay and shipped it up here and it was a great move for a great value.

Plus I was able to just pay cash and have no payments!

My car was in better overall shape from my overlook. Looked like his was in an accident because his hood was misaligned. But hey, Im a perfectionist.

I'm 28 and I've had my M45 for 3 years. Never heard any complaints from anyone that was worth anything.

just turned 25 and I've been in love with these cars since day one in 03, old man car? old man cars are friggin caddy DTS's and town cars. I think our M's are for any age group. It's a blast to show my friends this car, especially the ladies, they are always super impressed by the straight gorgeuos good looks of it, and most of them when I tell them how much I didn't have to pay for it. By and by the best car I've owned for the dollar.... thats because my other beauty eats money like fat kid in a candy store. But thats what cars are for right.....?

Definitely a cool story, DRIPS! Very rare car indeed. The last one I saw was last Summer about a mile from my house...I was helping my brother-in-law move some stuff with his truck, and here comes (what I thought was my wife) around the corner right at us. So, naturally, we flashed the lights, waved and honked as she passed us, only to get to my house a minute later and see my M's butt-end as the garage door went up. I thought to myself, what are the odds of having the same exact black M with chrome rims, spoiler, tinted windows, and a blonde woman with sunglasses driving it??? Kind of felt silly for waving and honking, but hey, the car is so rare, I assumed it was her.

Since were on the subject of age too, I turn 35 today and love my M more now than I did when I got it!
