Search.

Depending on what turbo/fuel management you use, you can gain 5 hp or 300hp. Do some reasearch on FI

You will gain EXACTLY 49.2 horsepower. No matter what.

This question is way too vague to be taken seriously. You can easily gain 100+ hp with a decently setup turbo configuration. You need to learn more and figure out what you want to do and (more importantly) how much you're willing to spend.

oh btw, you mentioned 'worth the money'. How else could you get 100hp from $2000 on a 4 cylinder. Even 50hp it would still be a bargain.

Also, dyno sheets wont help unless you put the exact same parts on your car as the dyno'd car has.

The best 'bang for your buck' right now is just research (its free), and a lot of it. Find out how turbos work, and then find out how each of the components of a turbo system work. Then make me some pie

with everything hooked up and operational (no boost leaks etc :P) i dont think you could net less than 20hp on a turbo.. and it would take some mad (down)tuning to make that little power.

The cheapest way to gain HP is nitrous, bar none. I'm sure you're aware of this though.. :p

no offense intended whatsoever, but if you work on cars for a living, how come you question whether or not a turbo will give you 50 or more horsepower.

To answer your question "what could be better?"

The answer is Chicks, Cars, and Cashews (regular salted, not the lightly salted)

NITROUS!? WHYYYYYY would you wanna run like the fast and the furious, i hate that fake azz movie! Plus the S14 they used in it they DESTROYED IT with this nasty body kit and nasty rims ew man. If your that unhappy with the looks of the car when you buy it, then dont buy it. And nitrous or as F&F uses "NOS", why would you want to run that on a slow car? So it can be fast for a minute or two? What happens when you in an all out race around corners or flying down the interstate? YEA IM FLYIN, UT OH.......TANK IS LOW ON PRESSURE, UT OH THE GSR IS CATCHING UP, how embarassing is that? Now for those of you out there with your turbo and running low 13's or better and have nitrous, thats cool because your already boss of the road and a little push is that much cooler. But for a 16 or 15 second car with nitrous just seems stupid to me.

I've seen a 15 second Camaro turn into a 11.2 second camaro by adding N20. Not much wrong with that. I'll be running N20 on my 240 race car when I build it. Just for some anti lag though.

Yea it would be a cool run, thats it. Then you gotta go back and fill your bottle up.........And on your race 240, like i said before, if you running good times already, i say low 13's or better then yea spray the hell out of it! Cause your car is quick already.

Yeah it depends on the setup. At 15psi on my turbo setup on my DOHC S13, I plan on making right around 350rwhp, that's about 210-215 whp gain if I'm not mistaken. That SOHC dyno is awesome, although the turbo is a little bigger, I can't wait to run 1 more psi than that on a DOHC. 350whp HERE I COME!!

The only reason I would ever run n2o would be to spool up the turbo a bit quicker, and in that instance, I'd use VERY LITTLE =\

NOS is good...and very fun...more fun than a turbo even...i used it for 3 years before i had a turbo...there are no issue with it..used a 75 direct port....dynoed 204rwhp and 202ftlbs with my NOS kit...

don't diss it until you have tried it.....

i heard that if you drive your car into a wall it will break :)

just kidding...

as with EVERYTHING in life... if it is used and done correctly ...it works correctly....

i have done 10times more damage to my car having a turbo than when i used NOS..in fact i had NEVER had an issue using nitrous ever....

lol, i was never "dissin" nitrous. I just think its stupid how people use JUST THAT to make there car go. And by the way I have used nitrous on my old 87 ss monte carlo, it ran 13's already with how I had it with a 350 small block, and with nitrous it dropped it down to mid 12's. And my boys NSX runs 11's on 50 shot of nitrous and I drive that thing around all the time. It runs a 12.1 w/0 n20 and 11.2 with the 50 shot =D. Then again look at the N/A times, both cars were quick as s***.
