And what are the differences between the Energy suspension red and black bushings. I'm wanting to replace my steering rack bushings and was wondering what are the differences between the types and brands.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Doesn't belong in the SR forum.

They are both polyurethane but I'm guessing the hardness is different in each...I can't find the durometer of either though (but I'm not looking to hard to be honest). Just get ES bushings. They are cheaper and you can get the whole kit for about 1/2 the price of the Nismo rear multi link kit only.

Jeeze, I didn't even realize you were just doing a steering rack bushing. Since this is the suspension forum, I just assumed you were doing suspension components.

I have the ES steering rack bushings. Buying the Nismo would have been a waste. No regrets at all here.

Thanks to all who replied to my post. And I apologize for posting in the wrong forum. I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate on this site. I'm so used to http://www.twinturbo.net setup.

Thanks again,

Jeremy

a lot of nismo stuff is just stiffer rubber, not polyurathane. just get the cheaper ones.

Yea, those were fun to put on.....well, maybe not.

when I pulled the stock rack bushings out they were more solid than I thought. Not sure if replacing only these bushings would make a big difference unless you can see they are cracked or damaged.

I did it just because it came with the ES kit
