Could some one please tell me the difference between 90-93 G50's please? Because I can only find little differences and "Q45tech" said that the only major difference is sodium filled exhaust valves.

If you really care, read the early posts. You will discover some of the minor running differences being mentioned. Briefly, until 1993, most were minor or factory silent upgrades.

I believe the major change in those model years was the addition of the first gear start TCU in the 1993 model.

I've been assured that the physical 1990 FSM I have will work with my 92 because there were no changes other than the TCU.

Now when 94 came around, lots of things changed. Then 96, they changed again.

No big difference in the 90-93s.

If you're asking about the difference between 90-93 and 94-95, that's another story. The fuel rails are different, CAS and a couple other connectors are different, injector connectors, too, I believe.

Here's an old thread covering the issue. See if bladeQ45's email still works.

Very true. Not to mention the change to OBDII in 96.

If I recall correctly, the 94 and up Q's got new seats, a much nicer wood trim on the interior and added noise reduction features like thicker glass and a slightly slower steering ratio. These changes came as a result of complaints from consumers about the "lack" of luxury in the 90-93 models. I don't think the public was ready for the belt buckle either.

You also might consider asking the guys on the VH and VK Forum. They know a lot about the engine internals.
