What are the clear stickers on the side of the car?

clear stickers on the rear sides of the A/C any one knows what they are for? srry if this has been posted!

It's a protective film meant to help reduce/prevent dings and scratches caused by little rocks flying up.

and they work as well a lot of people were saying they got a bunch of dings and paint chips from those ares after they removed the patches from yellowing.

i personally notice a TON of bugs hitting that spot.

haha... i removed them the day i got them... and i was at the car wash last night .. someone with a white ac washed his car... and even after it was washed he was like "why do they still stay yellow??!?!?!" so i walked over and told him to just peel them off... i havent had any dings or scratches in those spots since i took mine off.. and its been over a year.

i just noticed them today actually i was about to peel them off, but i decided i should just search the forum to see exactly what they are. i thought they were just stickers that the factory forgot to peel off hah

they do NOT protect against cones lol.

threw the sticker, threw the paint. i took the other side off when i got home after i repainted my rear quarterpanel
