PS - That's why a test lamp is more useful than a VOM when checking power circuits. The lamp needs power, so a bright one tells you the circuit is healthy and can carry power, a dim one tells you the circuit has a resistance issue (which a VOM will miss unless you check dynamically).

Yep I checked with the car chassis.
And between the + terminal and the ground it shows 12v. I consider that I lost that battle and give up.

Another big issue. I had to go home at night without any lights. Challenging. The rear ones are working, not the front ones. I can hear the relay click. Is that possible to have fried the lamp bulbs when the short circuit happened? I doubt it as the command was on the off position. The fuses are ok...
Another mystery.

Finally I have the engine light coming back... I already made it disappear but I have no tool to check that now. This car is a never ending story.

If there's 12V from Y to the chassis but 0V from Y to B then it means B isn't grounded.

You may have had one bulb out and not noticed it until both went out. Very common, actually. Do the high beams work, or is everything out?

There is 12v between the battery + and B. Y is not powered for unknown reason.

Hi beams and low beams are all dead. 4 bulbs at the same times is unlikely. Either they all fried at the same time with the short (seems impossible as the command was on OFF), either something else is dead. Not the fuse. Not the relay.

The 3 fuses were blown... Either I didn't noticed them the first time I checked, either they passed away in the meantime. Anyway, one problem solved.
Not the check engine light which shown intermittently after some miles.
