I have an 03 infiniti with factory HID that just went out on me for the first time (I have three cars and a motorcycle so it only has 38K on it) and I wanted to know what the brightest bulbs are that I can get for it. I bought 9000K bulbs but they are H1 and I need the DR2 or whatever. I'm going to replace the high, low, fogs, and side markers. I just graduated college and am just now having time to worry about stuff like this (also just having the extra $ to do it).

PIAA makes some really nice HID lights for you G. How do you like the 07 z06 by the way?

Haven't driven it much yet. Was going to take it to the beach this past weekend but the weather was terrible. It is scary quick and I'm looking into some exhaust for it. I only have it because it is really my dad's but it is in my name and at my house because my mom would flip if she knew he bought one. I'm just out of school and she thinks I'm selling drugs or something to pay for it haha. My dad and I are getting ready to get an m45 for my mom so she'll be cool with our cars after that. We built the 64 chevy ourselves completely. It is an "updated" re-build we put digital stuff throughout, much upgraded audio, new crate motor, made the woodgrain bed from wood we found in the closet of a 100 year old house, etc. The truck is my baby though even above the z06

Well if you ever need a place to store any of your families cars let me know my garage would not mind at all haha!! Anyways check out the PIAA HIDs...they look to have more of the blue tint than our factory ones. Once mine die, I am ordering some. I really like the BMW and Audi HIDs can see one of them coming from a mile away!!!

are there any certain places to order or pick up the PIAAs that are better/cheaper than others. If it is a reputable company that I know I'll be getting my stuff and on time I'll pay a few bucks more. The H1s I ordered took forever to get that is why I'm not even going to waste time trying to repack them and ship them back.

Damn I just went to the PIAA website and their lights are almost 500 bucks for my car for just the headlights. Are these anygood. I'd rather spend 70 bucks or whatever these cost for 12000K bulbs than 500 for 4000K Bulbs.

Ease up on the high numbers there... Anything over 5700K or so is making LESS usable light.

12000K bulbs? May as well put purple neons in - You'll be disappointed.

My lights with no high or lows in them at all right now are bright enough to drive without getting pulled (I have 8000K fogs that are running only right now). My fogs by themselves are very bright and I always run them. I want the high K for the color I could care less about the light as I'm in town for all my night driving so the roads are lit well.

I have ordered from Car domain before and they are pretty good...they have them listed for $402 with free shipping. I have seen them cheaperhttp://www.cardomain.com/item/PIA19994

Let me check with EverythingG35.....Joe with Everythingg35 has them even cheaper...359!!http://www.g35parts.com/9083/o...d=349

There are 2 different sizes so make sure you get the right one!!! I believe the D2R is correct for the G35. But someone correct me if I am wrong.

Sure doesn't.

Besides, those super-high K lights look retarded...

I'd rather see where I'm going, than have purple lights and have people think I'm cool.....
