So go ahed and post pictures and information, prices, weights, etc...

I know for a fact 245/40/17 tires will fit nicely on a 17x9 +20 rim all around on an s13. Something with lower offset should fit even 255s. I don't want to run non-staggered setups, or 'drift' setups or whatever. Just non-staggered maximum grip and traction..

However, going through the net looking for 114.3 PCD 5 lug rims proved volatile. Mostly the 5zigens come about and thats about it... or ... very very very heavy garbage chrome pimp wanabe rims.

So shoot away.

First thing that came to mind besides the 5 Zigen FN's are Gram lights or Falken Hanabi's (not 100% sure about the widths/offsets.) With 5 lugs though, you're more likely to find wheels with the lower offsets you posted.

...and I think you meant futile instead of volatile

unless your budget doesnt exceed $150 a wheel and you failed to mention that you mustve not looked very hard

if you want to run a 245/40 get like a 17x9 +15, +20 is more of a 235 offset

theres plenty of wheels depending on what you want to spend....post a budget

Not sure how much they run, you can get them in 17x9 with offsets between -10 to 35. Weight range from 9.2kg to 8.8kg depending on offset. I know for sure that Discount Tire is a dealer.

hahahahahaha i dont know why i said volatile, i meant futile lol. Thanks for the correction :P

There is a member on freshalloy and he is on here as well that has a 245/40/17 setup with 5zigen fn c rims which were 17x9 +20.. however he had some slight issues. However I guess, since it's been mentioned a +15 would be more desirable for such a fit in this thread... that would be a smarter fit for a 245.

So I would guess next that a +10 would be the only viable option for fitting a 255/40/17 non staggered setup all around (with the obvious need for overfenders or wider fenders or flares, etc...)

nah you wouldnt need flares

17x9 +10 and +12 are both available in a couple different wheels, and you can fit a 255/40 all around with that size

itll fit with rolled and pulled stock fenders

Those arent j-z's wheels. His were some kinda multi spoke Enkei's...

your right, i wasnt stating those specific wheels were J-Zs, they were asking which member had pink wheels that were stolen from him, i was informing them that it was j-z. as for his specific wheels, i do not know what they were.

My 17x9 +15's with 235's (5 lug conversion hubs, not S14 5lug conv up front as that should change offset a bit more) and about as much pull as you'll get out of a front fender which turn out to be the same as my friend's 20mm flared fenders (flushness is the same with same camber and same wheel/tire):

^Man I just absolutely love your car more and more that I read on it Keep us all updated on your project work in progress in your threads

Okay so my best bet is a +10 and +12 then for a 255/40/17 setup. What's out there at that size and offset?

Edit: I added you to msn I don't know how to pm on nicoclub theres no pm button that I see visible

Thanks bud... will definitely let you know when I have some updates... waiting on the snow to go away before to much more happens.

I wouldn't go much more than +15 up front if you want it to stay within a flush wheel to fender condition. Someone correct me if I am wrong... but I don't think you need another 3mm to make a 255 fit up front.

But do you really need it?

There is a decent amount of room between the wheel/coilover and between the tire/coilover. I have two pairs of 255's in the garage... might throw them on and check if I can get time to run by and get them mounted.

Honest... I don't remember the camber setting to tell you and feel confident I'm right.
