What are some straight forward specific exterior modifications that will make a 1995 base model Zenki 240sx look so much better? I'm, basically looking for multiple things that will change the exterior looks in any way possible (e.g. coil overs, wheels, paint job, exhaust, etc). Help would be greatly appreciated. This is how my car sits today. Eww...

So if you guys know of anything that will improve my vehicles looks (including the name of the brand of the parts etc), let me know, thanks in advance.

Alright thanks a lot. Can you specify the brands of the things you've suggested?

And yeah, i'm not that much of a fan of the emerald green. . . If I were to paint it, I would choose silver moss, or starfire blue :P What do you think of those colors?

Starfire Blue

Silver Moss

Blue.

Depends how deep your pockets are.

coils- doesn't really matter, your preference (Megan and Stance are the popular ones)

Wheels- Rota and XXr are the cheapest. Volk, Works, Weds are all sexy but expensive. Though you could find some used ones for cheap.

Aero- Navan is pretty sick. If not, Zenki skirts and a greddy lip.

Many options. Up to you. Your preference. Your car. Have fun.

-stock oem lip, nothing else (ie home depot, those bootleg ebay lips that they try to sell for like 180$, no greddy lip on stock body, etc)-coilovers -4 lug wheels w/ at least +20 offset (fn01r-c was what i had before and it was a perfect fit not too aggressive)-clear headlights (euro glass is the best but very expensive, even headlight cleaner will work a little)-tints-kouki skirts-oem fogs-REPAINT if possible, that green, the maroon, and the gold were the worst zenki colors.

oh and it wouldn't hurt to add a nice subtle exhaust or at least get exhaust tips if you don't want louder exhaust.

How about you first get your power window, power sunroof and your blower motor fixed before even thinking about anything cosmetic.

Keep the mud flaps. i wish my s13 had mud flaps. keep the green it looks hot. plus, painting the engine bay, door jams, etc is a hassle.

Keep it simple whatever you do.

Not too low, not too stupid.

The cars aren't ulgy as they are.

People tend to make cars look bad and drive worse.

To each his own...i don't understand why people ask for opinions about there car? If its about a product then yes ask away, but to ask what you should do with your car to make it look good.

Come on man...are you telling me that you have no idea what looks good?

I say leave it stock or sell it.

First off, how much money are you willing to spend? That makes a lot of difference on what you can do to the car. I would have to say that a S14 Zenki is one of the most expensive cars (of the 240sx class) to makeover with great results. I have personally sunk a ton of money into my Zenki already and I'm far from being done with it.

You need to weigh out your options along with your 240sx fund first. Be smart about what you want to do with your car and do what you like and not what others think you should do. It is your money to spend where you want! Also be very patient in starting a project and do all sorts of research before you spend money. You don't want to jump-the-gun and spend money on some piece of sh*t body kit and then see something else you like better and be like, "D*mn, I should have got that instead!"

Make the car yours my friend!

If theres nothing terribly wrong with your paint, screw all the ppl telling you to change it! That's expensive and unneccessary. That color will look nice with a little touch up job and the right set of wheels to make it pop. That color is gonna need some wheels colored Hyper Silver with fat shiny lips. Like some SSR Professors or Work Miesters in silver or something...

I could bomb this thread with all manner of sexy zenki's... but I don't feel like it. Too much work for easily found info. Try looking in the 'Zenki Check in' thread or Rimtuck.com.
