What are some good places to drive in SoCal?

Its Winter Break for me right now and im dieing in boredom. I remember my brother took me to a mountain pass oce that was an awesome drive, but I forgot where/what it was called. If you guys can tell me some nice places, id be really greatfull.

Sorry, but your chances of finding someone in SoCal willing to list off places to drive on the internet is damn near 0.
