Ok, I have a 1992 240sx coupe SE, and as wondering if you guys could tell me some free, or cheap and easy modifications that i could do to my car. I have already removed the black plastic pedal stopper from under the gas pedal, but there is still a metal piece undereath it, but please tell me some mods i could do??

Take out the passenger seat, backseat, spare tire, everything thats not directly related to the driving the car. Includes air conditioning, sound system, rear seatbelts, spoiler, rear wiper, etc. If you're really determined, take out the dash, center console, interior panels, and power options.

There's free modifications for ya. Your car will look like asss, but hey, it makes the car faster if you wanted that.

Keep this one civil please. I will only say this once.

novaguy, there is a wealth of info to be had through the search function. Check it out, I'm sure you'll find some good suggestions. But remember, free will only take you so far. The best thing to do is make sure your car is running in top shape.

Remove your intake resonator, no performance gains, but it sounds cool as s***.

loosen the hose clamp by the MAF and unclip the airbox. Unplug the sensors and the top of the box should come right off. To get the bottom half off, there are a few bolts (4 I think) holding it on. The scoop will come off, but you have to pry the plastic rivets off. Threre are two plastics pipes that lead to the resonar, remove them. To get the box itself out you have to take off the splash gaurd from inside the wheel well.

Dude taking that thing out was a pain in the arse (but of course I put it back in...silly me). I guess he could remove his secondary butterflies, but that would cost some money cuz he'd have to get a replacement gasket (like me:)).
