Besides a turbo or supercharger what will help boost the hp?

Welcome to NICO.

if you search, there isnt much to do to a Q that will really help. Most of the stuff is sorta "maxed out" from the factory. ECU will help, 20-30HP probably..... Other than that, you dont have much as far as stuff you can go buy.

For the money the NOS set up is the best.

Hey bro, when I get this car finished i'll come up, and do some racing to make some cash, I know that there are quite a few racers up there that race for money. I like the idea of nos, its cheaper than a supercharger or a turbocharger, but I would like to add a supercharger for more low end torque.

Better plan on bringing at least 500hp for that squad.

Theyd eat that Q alive

Nitrous produces the most low end torque of any mod............multiply the HP JET by 1.75 to find the torque output [flywheel gain] at 3,000 rpm.

That is what gets most in trouble..............too much torque at launch in 1st gear.............why they make/use PULSE CONTROLLERS until the rpm increases.

Hey superruber, did you just get heat resistant paint, and paint your intake manifold, I think it looks great. Also if you don't mind me asking where did you get your stillen strut bar?

No I did not paint it. It is powder coated. The pics don't do it justice! It's better in real life. Candy apple red with a glassy shine. The guy who did it does custom street rods. Cost me a fortune! As far as the strut bar, I got Stillens last one a couple of years ago (lucky me). It matches the intake plenum perfect!

Do you know what your quartermile times are, and how many hp does your car have, sorry for all the questions I am just wondering if I should spend money turbocharging supercharging, or just putting nos.
