Seriously, what is the purpose in this twisted muffler?

Not exactly the best welding that I have ever seen either...

there are 3 type of muffler, straight through (fart can), chambered (stock, rsr ex-mag and stuff)

down side of straight through is beiong louddown side of chambered is power robbed from being chambered

this twin loop design solves this problem however, looks funny and usually hard to mount properly, usually require more clearance to fit properly

Looks like it just sends it through the muffler twice so you get straight-through performance with chambered quitness. But it still probably won't get as much performance as a completely straight-through muffler because it has some serious bends in it, which decreases exhaust flow.
