Hi everyone!

I am the original owner of a 2003 Nissan XE Truck [4 cylinder]. Recently the truck just past the 100,000 mile mark. It's running a little rough lately.

I am asking for advice as to which brand parts to use for a tune up [plugs, rotor, dist. cap, etc.] and belt replacement [3].

Can someone help me make an educated decision on this?

I went to Kragen's today. Just wondering if Auto Zone, or Napa would be better.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Soar

Nissans - especially with ignition components - seem to be very sensitive to using OEM parts. I would go with Nissan OEM parts for the distributor cap and rotor, OEM specified NGK plugs (especially skip Bosch platinums) dealer or parts place are the same in this case. Might as well go OEM with the drive belts and fuel filter at the same time... their prices are competitive. I found the Nissan price to be outrageous for plug wires, so I'm going to try NGK wires from http://www.sparkplugs.com on mine. For the other parts, my favorite online supplier is http://www.everythingnissan.com

They're moving from one location to another in Scottsdale AZ, so there may be some delay if you order this week.

Good luck!

I'm running OEM everything except for the NGK blue plug wires and the Baldwin air filter. The results are pleasing.
