What are all of the parts you need from a clip?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

I've been doing some research.. but so far all I've found that is needed from the clip is:

- engine/transmission (the whole swap)- harness/ecu- intercooler + piping- mounts/brackets- radiator- small part of dash harness

Is that it? Are there any other little electrical components etc that is needed?

IS IT A DOHC OR A SOHC? THE SOHC USE THE SAME RADIATOR SETUP AS THE RB'S, THE DOHC USES THE SAME SETUP AS THE SR'S. YOU LISTED EVERYTHING, THAT I KNOW OF SO FAR. YOU MIGHT WANT TO USE THE GAUGE CLUSTER FOR AN EASIER INSTALL.

Isn't the steering rack on an RB setup for RHD? Are you converting your 240 to RHD?

Let's see I've used a few pieces of the interior harness, the RB fuel pump, RB swaybar (modified of course), RB downpipe and cat, tons of bolts and nuts, a few relays, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting, all in addition to what you mentioned above.

and if you have the option, get a clip. there could be so much misc **** you need from the skyline and you will be able to take it.

I am just curious as to why you chose the RB fuel pump over a walbro?? Does it flow better. What mods needed to be done to get it to work???

What are you using the relays for?

I have the option of buying a whole RB25 swap with an uncut harness, if there is something on the clip that I absolutely MUST have and will have an extremely hard time finding, then I guess I'll wiat for a clip.

Kamin, I'm moving on.. :oface :)

Like RubHamuSan said, the fuel pump came with the clip so I figured why not use it since I'm running the RB20 at stock boost atm. No mods needed to be done. I just took the 240 pump out of its mounting bracket and put the RB20 pump in :)

Somehow I lost my 2 ignition relays for the RB20 ECU harness, so I stole 2 relays from the R32 fuse box :D

well let me make a list.motor ,transmission, ecu, engine harness,cas,maf,igniterchip,coilpacks,O2sensor and i would say thats it. the major parts. no need for the battery harness from the clip. no chassis harness needed. none of that other junk. just the basics.
