Stock EVOs run in the 13.4-13.5 range in the quarter mile, so no I don't think so...

a few good mods to the sr and you can keep up with evos..remember the 13.4 that they run is with a professional driver..so if you yourself are as good as a driver as the guy your racing in the evo then a fmic 3'' exhaust vlsd a nice set of tires and up the boost you may be able to keep up with one

I raced an evo with my GT2871r.

I had slipping clutch, all season tires with 2.7 60ft time.

Results: 13.6 ET for the EVO and 13.9 for me.

I was not a happy man.

I did trap around 106 which was much faster than his 101 trap speed. At the end of the quarter mile when I started catching up... I wished the track was 1/2 mile long haha.

this sounds very similar to my results at the track. i need to learn how to launch better but my 60 ft time was also horrible. of course my buddy in his evo made me look good because he was babying his car. he ran a 14.1 to my 13.9. I trapped at 105 and he was just over 100. I second that half mile track idea. let's hear it for bad launches and LOTS of top end! WOOOOT

evo's are quick, but not super quick. evo 9's are a lot faster than evo 8's. my friends stock evo 8 ran a 13.8@99. i beat my friends evo 8 and evo 9 on stock boost with bolt ons. but once they start modding, itll b harder to keep up. evo 9's can do near 330whp wit a reflash, full bolt ons, and cams.
