is it a thick heavy gauge wire? if so then it could just be an extra ground cable......other than that idk..

Um lol, thats def not a wire. It is a breather hose for the transmission there is supposed to be a bracket that holds it to one of the top bellhouing bolts.

No its not, I have 2 5 speed trannys sitting in the floor of my work shop(not for sale) and have pulled countless more, and I can say with 100% confidence that that is the transmission vent hose and that it bolts down under one of the top bellhousing bolts

yup, it's a vent hose. It should have an inverted "u" shaped metal tube end with a flange that secures it to the top of bellhousing.

Dude, what he is saying, dont go double guessing, and saying its a wire, when its a tubeeeee....I also have never worked on them, and I asked a ton of questions, but I dont doubt the people that have done numerous swaps, when they give me advice.....You asked a question, you got an answer, backed by the masses, and you questioned....how did you expect people to react, its NICO man, get used to it.

i merely suggested that you find guidance and consultation in a person within your group of friends that has common sense and car knowledge enough to the point that you would be able to complete such a complex task as a motor swap, without having to question what a pink tube is, by calling it a wire "with a ground connector"

and when PINOY asked if it was a "big wire with a ground connector, possibly a ground" and you said "yes" then that implies clearly that you disagree with the other people who told you it was a TUBE.

carry on with your swap, and dont use your WHOLE vocab in one post next time please
