seems that the s 13 ka alternator will fir if i drill out the top mounting bracket and change out the pulleys, but it seems that they are referring to the s13 sr's wondering if this is the exact same procedure for my notchtop.......... THANKS

I am pretty sure all sr20 use the same alternator. So a KA alternator will fit on the SR. But like you said the pulley does need to be swapped.

What year ka, 95 im guessing?

all ka alternators are the same, so 95 is fine.
