I have 93 alternator but it won't fit. I heard tha the 89 will fit is that true?

which sr20 do you have?i replaced the one on my friends s13 redtop with a dohc ka alternator,but i had to drill out one of the holes.

yes you'll need a drill and a tap for the ka alternator.
