what all is controlled by the AC button?

hey techs, i got a Question about the AC system, im in the process of ripping the whole ac shenanigans out and im wondering what all is controlled by the AC system? because im thinking about not putting the mechanical fan back in and just press the ac button to turn on the electric AC fan, is that feasible or do i need to wire it to be on all the time which i know would work

That fan is not suffecient for cooling by itself. It is meant to add to the existing air flow of the original fan not suplement it. You can do as you have described to control it but you need to step up to a higher flow fan.
