I've heard about the transmission cooler. Is there a specific one you all use? Is this a DIY job or should I take it to the mechanic to do it?thanks

also, if there is a specific one, where do I order it from?

peace

Both B&M and Hayden have coolers that fit our cars well.

I dont remember the exact size number but they appear to be pretty standard.Any decent autoparts store should carry either one of these brands. There should be a reference at the auto part store which one fits Q.I think 3 of the B&M are supposed to fit, use the biggest one (even tho some have used the medium one and enabled themselves to use the "a" model opening for it as a location instead of in front of the radiator).

Most seem to use the B&M (as did I on my previousQ), but my current Q has the Hayden.

Fred...:)

I have the B&M (not sure of model #, think it ends with ...68).

Fits nicely next to the left HL.

Not a hard DIY - Did mine in 2 hours (Clean install, if I may say so).

Q45 transmission cooler -- B&M model #70268

This is the biggest one we know that fits no questions.
