yeah i'm afraid my fuel pressure regulator has taken a turn for the worse. its reading 38psi with the vac hooked up and 38 psi with the vac unhooked. so its most likely done.

instead of replacing it with another stock one, i'd rather get an adjustable one since with the walbro pump it would usually read around 4-5 psi higher then stock pressure at idle. so i would like to tune that out.

so i would like to know what would fit with NO modifications. and also do you guys think its the FPR? or could it be the fuel pump?

thanks

Nismo! it is built just like stock, but with a bolt on the top to adjust it.

Problem is, the NISMO Adj. FPR DOES NOT fit the stock rail...it will bolt on, but hits the head!

It was made for the SR rail, which has the FPR at a different angle.

You have 2 options:

1) Make a bracket to hold it in place...it seals with an o-ring, so it can sit anyway you like...but you need to bolt it in place so that fuel pressure does not pop it out of the rail.

2) Get an universal 1:1 ratio adj. FPR...and use an adapter like so:

I installed this one last tuesday: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V

I was surprised that it actually fit. I just had to buy an o-ring, two longer bolts and two washers. No leaks that I'm aware of. But I haven't tested it out very much.

Can't beat the ebay price either.

thanks for hte reply guys, but it was just a false alarm. i tried testing it again and i pulled out a different hose, and the fuel pressure shot straight up to 50 psi. so i was like *whew*

Cav, that is basically the same one I have except it came in a Megan box (Counterfiet parts Megan, yes), and it worked well? I haven't installed mine yet, but that is good to hear. Are you using it with an FMU?
