I have a Graphite Metallic M35 ('06) and would like to replace the stock rims I currently have. I'm thinking about just getting the wheels and re-using the current tires I have on now. What's your opinion on these wheels:

18x8 -- 5x114.3 pattern -- 35mm offset "KONIG LACE"

I would love to upgrade to larger rim/tire size but my budget won't let me at this time. IMO, mesh rims don't go out of style like others.

Save up and go 20s. Aftermarket wheels only look good in plus sizes.

I beg to differ but to each his/her own(19's). In my opinion 18's with a lip will look tiny. A nice looking wheel though.

agreed, save up and get the 20s if you want a lip, imho of course, if you like them that much thats all that counts.

I really like them. I think you should ask someone to photoshop them onto your car. I'd love to see what they would look like.

Just save your pennies and buy a decent set of 20" mesh wheels, rather than aftermarket 18's. Those wheels will look like 17's on your car too, because of the lip.

To add to this thread the lip will not look like that. It will be less due to the width of the rim and offset. Wheel manufactures tend to "show off" their more aggressive but unrealistic wheels in terms of your needs for fitment for display(Wide and less positive offsets). By the time it arrives at your doorstep you'll be wondering "what happened to my lips"?

those rims are ok but Konig rims are in my opinion for less expensive cars ie civics, Mazda 6. I would look at maybe TSW or something like that. and I agree with the lip being smaller especially on a 8" wide rim. having a lip is tricky with potholes and bent rims, you will get tired of paying 400 dolars for one replacement rim.

I would love to get some TSW's but they are more than what I can afford at the moment. I guess I'm just going to wait and get a nicer set at a later time. Thanks for the replies yea'all.
