So how about either of these on my Black with Silver trim 01 QX4 with a 2" lift and some 32's? At first I really liked the chrome inserts but now I'm thinking they might be too flashy after seeing the last pic.

Well it looks like those are out, the smallest diameter they come in is 17" and I just found out that biggest I can go with is 16 due to my future tire size, what a bummer!

I'd go with something a little less flashy....the chrome is def. too much, but even the all black...I dunno, man. I'm a function over form kinda guy and that just screams "Soutnern California truck that will never see the other side of pavement!!!" But, to each his own...

Theirs a new wheel called the liquidmetal gatlin, thing looks super cool and comes in matte black. Very sexy, I called wheelsdirectonline.com, and for 18" shipped I was looking at $660.00. I am soooooo confused on what to buy, i like those wheels alot w/ big tires but then I tell myself I want 20" b/c I probs wont go offroad. OH THE CONFUSION

Please don't put 20's on your ride, IMO it just looks lame, no matter how the rim's designed.

If you're going black, go all black. Don't go for the chrome inserts.

Whenever I see a car with those black and chrome rims, the word "douche" just pops into my head. Dunno why, just does.

I dont think 20" look that bad, I think what some people on here do with 22" is too big, but 20" whats wrong with that? I have 17" platinum wheels from factory, so I would think going up to 20" would only be logical.

i agree. but i looked into the pros and cons closer. every rich boy is putting 20's on his whip. i dont wana be a rich boy i wanna be a guy that loves his q. LOL that makes no sense. anyways. if you get 20's youll need low profiles, if you live in an area where you get snow like i do, youll have to switch them in the winter. and if you live in the city like i do, lots of potholes and curbs to scratch up your wheels and then what. im still considering them, but big tires sounds alot more practical even if i dont plan on going offroad...itll still look awesome and ill have a sweet winter setup with even WORSE gas mileage :P

EmptyV-what did u end up going with? The all black looks great, the chrome inserts scream cheese. 20's look fine on Pathfinders as a 275/45/20 tire still retains a decent amount of sidewall. I wish I went with 20's as tires are really affordable now. I have 33's on my Ex with 15x8.5 wheels and I really like that look but everytime I see a 33 with a 17 or 18 inch wheel I feel like im livin in the 90's. I am not planning on lifting my Pathfinder anytime soon so I went with the widest tire/wheel combo I could fit with minimal trimming. 4wheelparts shows some Pro Comp knight chrome colored wheels that look fantastic in my opinion.

yeah did you? and YOU GOTTA LOVE MY LAST QUOTE ON THIS THREAD LOL

guess thats what happens when your in the decision phase....its still gunna be a pain in the butt switching over to winter tires and oh my will i ever miss my 20's. If i got the big a** tires itd be good all year round but hey im happy with what i did.

EmptyV if i were you, id get those chrome inserts and paint them silver to match the silver trim on your Q.

Qxxx4, yeah I did... Heh Heh. I thought you would get a kick out of that. I originally wanted a street Explorer and ended up lifting it. I wanted to lift the Pathfinder, bought a Nissan Grill Guard and then went with 275/55/17 tires.. Grill Guard and V-rated tires really dont go together but it works for me. Switching wheels and tires out for the winter really isnt a big deal with one vehicle. Multiple and it really sucks. I currently have 3 sets of wheels/tires for the Pathfinder. Finding a place to store them sucks as well.

I haven't bought anything yet, I just received that last component to my suspension lift yesterday. I decided against a 17" wheel because of how much the cost of each tire goes up. I was looking at these AR teflon wheels but decided against it.

I'm sure they're easy to clean but I think a glossy black would look much better. Here's what I'm almost positive I'm going to get. Any comments?

I like all of them actually. Not a huge fan of the A/R Teflon wheels (makes me want to cook non stick pancakes) but the shinier M/T wheels really work for me. Shameless plug for Tire Rack is ok in my book, they have been great. So has Discount Tire Direct as well!!

I actually like both of those. You are going with a 16" rim then? What brand/size tire are you going with?

I'm planning on going with BRG A/T's 265/75/16's. I looked at Wranglers, pro comps, mickey thompson, general grabbers and and a few others. I used to have BFG A/T 31/10.5/15's on my old exploder and they went about 75K miles without rotation. The pro comps were my 2nd choice but the mileage that you get out of them seems to be about 1/2 of the BFG's.

Adnan those look like ricer wheels to me.

I like the GA9. Other two look like something Hasbro/Mattel made. Would look nice for the front of a Big Wheel.... Have seen alot worse though.

Those AR ATX wheels are also available in 16" too. They may or may not have been shown on the tirerack's site, but I've seen them offered.

Not a fan of the Granite wheels. If I had to choose, I guess the first one because it is different.

I got my rims and tires from http://www.performanceplustire.com/

They turned out pretty decent and was way cheaper than anything I could've picked up here in Canada
