Ive got two bovs here and was wondering if itd be a problem if I ran both of them. One on the hot pipe and one on the cold pipe. One is an hks ssq and the other is a greddy type rs. I dont really want to sell either one, and I think theyll make an awesome sound together since theyre both unique. Is this ok to do or not? I run about 20 psi.

I dont understand what purpose that would serve... Id rather sell one and use the money on something useful.

GTR's have upgrades for dual BOV's

It can't hurt, but it won't do very much for you on the same note.

I'd just sell one and put that money into something that can benefit you more.

The main problem I see is that the greddy and the hks bov's are different types and will probably react differently. This may end up causing other problems like boost leak. IMO it's not worth the effort.

YOU CAN GET SOME BENEFIT IF YOU ARE RUNNING ALOT OF BOOST OR HIGH VOLUMES OF AIR...

YOU CAN PUT ONE ON THE HOTPIPE AND THE OTHER ON THE COLD PIPE. THIS WILL BLEED TWICE AS FAST, WILL REDUCE BACK FLOW, AND REDUCE HOT AIR HEATING THE IC BETWEEN SHIFTS.

THERE WAS SOME DISCUSSION ABOUT THIS ON HYBRIDZ.COM AWHILE AGO BUT THE CONCENSUS WAS IF YOU PROPERLY DESIGN THE SYSTEM AND AREN'T RUNNING UPWARDS OF 30PSI OR 800CFM THERE IS LITTLE TO GAIN.

dude, rice? no. not to be a pen15, but rice is flashy wheels, blitz body kit, corvette tails on Accord, ETC.--it is for high horsepower engines, to let the boost out better/faster. Unless your building a drag car...But drag cars dont use BOVs. cause they only let off the gas once(at the end). so who needs a BOV?. FOR EX: Inline Pro drag hondas. but i wouldn't suggest runnin the bov on the hot pipe. yeah i guess you can do it for originality but honestly, it'd be cheaper if u sold one of em and got a performance upgrade:)

EDIT: oh never mind. didnt read that you sold one.

May not be "flashy", but its not for any performance aspect... Thats why I said it to begin with. I know high hp cars can use twin BOV's but judging from about 99% of the SR setups on this board its overkill and purely for some other function ie sound/flash.
