What a world!!!!! M45 Dashboard is 'melting'!
My 2007 M45 black dashboard is literally turning to mush. I have only used a damp cloth to clean it over the years. In the sun it becomes extremely soft and pliable and is susceptible to damage by the slightest touch. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea on cost to replace? Thanks all.

You SURE you only used a damp cloth? No car wash's cleaning the inside of your car? No stuff on the cloth?
Cause a couple others through the years have seen this same thing happen from use of armor all on the dash.

I never have. However, it was 'reconditioned' at a auto detail shop around a year ago. Not sure what they used. The corners at the A/C vent began to split a bit. They said this was because the dash was dry given all I ever used was a damp cloth for so many years and it now needed to be reconditioned. You may be on to something. In any event, I inadvertantly brushed my finger nail across the dash the other day and too a minor slice out of it. The integrity of the material has definitely deteriorated and has apparently been compromised. Looking to see what the cost to replace it is.
