Heard my door bell ringing this morning. Looked out the window and.....nuts. Only 3.5 months old and someone backed right into the rear bumper while backing out. Saw that "I'm sorry" look on their faces while they stood at my door so in some respect I'm glad they informed me and they were ok. Looks like it's just the bumper but we'll see. Got an appointment with the appraiser tomorrow. We'll see what else they find.

Oh man sorry to hear that. Some people have no idea have to drive. As you said at least they did not leave without saying anything.

Hope it will be like new. Make sure you get it done at a reputable shop.

I'm surprised they notified you. I have a lot of respect for that guy. Don't worry about it...that's what insurance is for.

Definately alot of respect to the guy. Takes some serious balls to do that these days, who knows how the person who's car you just hit is going to react.

I feel your pain.

Since my accident also occurred in Somerset I wonder if they both happened in the same place?

Hey guys!

Well I got a Monday morning appointment with the body shop. They got a new OEM bumper Friday so I'm set to drop it off bright and early Monday. So far, the estimate is $815 plus 3 days of rental. Hopefully, they won't find anything once they remove the cover so by Wednesday/Thursday everything should be back to normal.

Make sure you check the paint match. Not the easiest to match paint. Also ask what kind of warranty the paint shop has on their job.

Hope everything turns out good for ya.
