So I was at this local "Honda"/APC/wish I was a tuner shop...don't ask me why, I was hoping to find a greddy decal for under the hood...(what better place eh?)

Anyhow, when I was pulling out, like four guys jumped into this Ford Focus...This car was stickered up, HUGE tach...funny looking wing...etc...we have all seen them...I drive right by him on my way out, and he decides to rev the engine as high as he can and do a front wheel burn out in the parking lot...if he was an ape he would have been pounding his chest...It was hilarious and stupid all at the same time...

I pay no attention...So he follows behind me and decides to rev again and "race" by me in a parking lot! and almost clips this old woman in her saturn...again hilarious, but this time scary too...

Where is a cop when you need one eh? Should we be issuing a license to these people?

I'm surrounded by Honda-Acur-crap fanatics everywhere. I just got my 240SX a few days ago and the gear syncros apparently need attending to. So when I shift to 2nd it grinds as if I missed a shift like a noob. . I'm driving home from the college campus when this guy in a older Integra ('89 like, 4 drs), crosses on the wrong lane and passes me while revving like a maniac. I live in the mountains and I have been tearing the touge for the past 2 years: I know every turn like the back of my hand, I could probably drive blindfolded. Usually I wouldn't let it affect me, but I hadn't had a chance to really test out the 240. So I downshift from 4th to 3rd and catch up to these two kids. Needless to say the couldn't shake me off as much as they tried so instead of passing them and embarassing them, I decided to see how long they could take the pressure of being in a real battle. It only took two turns at which I was literally less than 5 in from their rear bumper from them to take a squealing right turn into a dead end. After I passed them they just got behind me and drove very slowly so I would simply go away. Why do kids have to do stupid stuff like that? The kid driving was horrible BTW, he was braking way too hard on each turn in and transfering waaay too much weight to the front of the car. It was squealing even on turns that were not tight...I'm glad to say that the S13 passed the first test with flying colors though...

yea lolz.. see if he did some **** stupid and you rear end him... his integra is a piece of garbage anyways but your 240...... thats a diff story.

My 2nd gear did that too.. syncro on the 3rd is starting to go. My friend drove it really hard once and grinded the second gear really bad... followed by a burning smell. When i did the gear oil change recently alot of metal shaving came out.....

i get that too. my 240 looks bad on the outside (needs paint). a lot of these kids think it's just about speed. like seyath said, cornering kills them. i live in northern nevada and drive 60 miles of curvy roads every day...FUN!!

peopel these days. something sorta similar happened to me and my brother Monday evening. it was abut 10pm and we decided to get a bite to eat. so we get out of our little neighborhood and onto RT851(busy road in this small town) and we were doing the speedlimit and this guy and 3 kids in a Focus came flying up behind us. the speedlimit is only 45 and the Focus was easily doing 70. So my brother speeds up to around 55 and the Focus is literally no more than 6 inches from the back of his car. So we decide to get ont he shoulder to let him pass, but the guy must have wanted to race cuz he didnt pass he just stayed behind us. Next thing we know the guy in the focus stops chirps the wheels in an attempt to leave a mark and pulls off. About 2 miles down the road we get to the road where the food place is. BUT aparntly the guy in the Focus is a moron because he got pulled over in front a police station.

okay im done with that story. (didnt intend for it to turn out that long)

Under normal circumstances I would not follow someone that closely unless they were fellow racers that I know and trust. However I know these roads like my driveway and I could have cut on the inside and passed it at any moment. So at the first sight of braking or tires chirping I would keep the safety distance, ready to pass his sorry *** as soon as he screwed up...
