I'm surrounded by Honda-Acur-crap fanatics everywhere. I just got my 240SX a few days ago and the gear syncros apparently need attending to. So when I shift to 2nd it grinds as if I missed a shift like a noob. . I'm driving home from the college campus when this guy in a older Integra ('89 like, 4 drs), crosses on the wrong lane and passes me while revving like a maniac. I live in the mountains and I have been tearing the touge for the past 2 years: I know every turn like the back of my hand, I could probably drive blindfolded. Usually I wouldn't let it affect me, but I hadn't had a chance to really test out the 240. So I downshift from 4th to 3rd and catch up to these two kids. Needless to say the couldn't shake me off as much as they tried so instead of passing them and embarassing them, I decided to see how long they could take the pressure of being in a real battle. It only took two turns at which I was literally less than 5 in from their rear bumper from them to take a squealing right turn into a dead end. After I passed them they just got behind me and drove very slowly so I would simply go away. Why do kids have to do stupid stuff like that? The kid driving was horrible BTW, he was braking way too hard on each turn in and transfering waaay too much weight to the front of the car. It was squealing even on turns that were not tight...I'm glad to say that the S13 passed the first test with flying colors though...
