We successfully moved up to New Hampshire. Its about 20 minutes from the New Hampshire Drag Way and 20 minutes from Portsmouth. The town is awesome, house is fantastic, and we no longer live on a busy a** highway in a home owned by a slum lord.
My employer relocated us, so that was a huge perk. Lindsey has been working in Newport, RI, staying at her folks house until she gets a job up here- which she received an offer for Westinghouse Nuclear yesterday morning. For a very good chunk of cash more than she was making. I now have a sugar momma!
Wedding planning is solid, venue picked and reserved, photographer on hold (another stupid payment due this month!), engagement photos this weekend, and work has been kicking my a** with travel, its a wonder I haven't gotten sick yet. Most of the cars are registered, one left. Insurance cost dropped dramatically, and we're now about 1.5 hours to the White Mountains and 45min to Lake Winnipesaukee. Firearms carry permits are next, and then some range memberships!
Anyway, figured I'd share some photos with y'all, too. No photos of the inside, there is still some unpacking going on and the woman's touch hasn't been applied yet!!

We live across from a very public horse farm. They have a couple Clydesdale horses. They're huuuuuge.

Lindsey loves horses and will probably start riding again. She used to ride when she was younger. I'd like to, but think I have too much of a healthy fear of horses to do it more than occasionally.

Cassiedog enjoying the view out of our living room window looking at the horses. She doesn't know what to do with herself without the bus riders, walkers, bikes, and traffic going by all day. She's quiet. Its nice.
I don't think I'll even put up curtains in the window, the view is too good and its so dark out here that the glare doesn't affect the tv at all at night. We've got a gigantor apple tree in the front yard with some astonishingly good fruit, too. A friend made us an amazing cobbler with them last weekend.

A fall look from a hike we took yesterday.

Went on an F body end of season cruise on Sunday

This car was NUTS. Built LT1 running 16 lbs of boost with a 9" Ford rear. Insanely fast.

The view out our front door this morning.

View out the back this morning. The rental came complete with a 10' diameter burn pit that we'll be using soon! There is a small neighborhood to our right, but otherwise, we are nicely rural!

A bad panoramic, but the garage here was made for an RV. We could get all 3 cars in if I put the t/a on dollies. It also has excellent lighting and a wood burning stove in it for those winter projects!
I'll be active again soon!!
