i never thought of that being chrome. its ummm.....interesting. how did u come across that? were u looking for it, or did it just sorta pop up?

popped up. every few days i check kijiji and craigslist to see any interesting deals on qx4 stuff and i sometimes come across rare ideas like that, not that i want to do that its just interesting to see.

once i saw a 00 qx4 converted front to 01+ and the interior the idiot custom painted the center console and bezel to a really nasty snot green

You know, on second thought, it doesn't look too bad- despite my loathing of chrome. But that chrome under the headlight doesn't look good at all.
