The only two ways a pignose would have an lsd is through aftermarket if it were canadian, and even then it's not a guaruntee.

You seem to be thinking FWD here. Here in the world of real cars, we have real differentials that are separate from our transmissions.And yes, an LSD from any other year 240 should work on any other 240.

no offense but i dont like FF or AWD cars. I have been an FC owner for a while. The reason I asked is becasue I alot of people talk to much and dont know what there saying. I only owned my Ka for 2 days. I was just checking if the people were right. also I found what years and models came with VLSD's. So thats all i really wanted to know. I am use to Fc3s's where all parts are interchangable

Well if you find an LSD from a 240 or certain year J30's, it'll work. You can use the LSD's from other year J30's and Z32 300ZX's but you have to get the output shafts too.

you can do 180sx VLSD and corresponding 5 bolt axle shafts, drops into current USDM 240sx and Phase2 has them for sale in stock last time I checked(i bought my spare lsd/ shafts from them, they kick ***)

I think only 91 fastbacks with Super HICAS has vlsd. Rest of them have open diff.

if the 91 on up 240's have a vlsd they will also have ABS brakes or HICAS...... http://www.ka24development.com/vlsd.html read here...

Only 91-93 HICAS equipped models came with VLSD. And all the HICAS models came with ABS from the factory. I have seen a few LE models that have the HICAS but don't state it on the side like a normal one does.
