What 17 inch wheels fit on 5 lug s13

My friend has a set of BBS RX wheels and I believe he used them on a FD Rx-7, which leads me to believe they might not fit on my s13. Anyways, I was planning on doing the 5 lug and Z-brake conversion once I finish painting my car (BTW, the skyline blue looks nice ) The wheels my friend has are 17x8 all around. Would 17x8 work on the front of a s13? What size tires would I need to use? What offset would the wheels need to have to clear Z-brakes (I don't plan on getting coilovers for a while). What about the 350z wheels, would they fit? What size tires would I need with that?

Also, just in general, I want some 17's if these don't work out. What is the widest wheel I can fit in the rear without coming out of the fender? What size tires go with these? And what is the correct offset to clear the Z-brakes?

I guess if all else fails, I'll just pick up a set of the 16x6.5 s14 wheels.

Yes 17x8 will work but personally I prefer 17x7's like my TE-37'sIn the well I think you can fit max 9.5 but you may want to check on that one. I'd say take the 17x8's and see how much room there is in the well compensating for the tire room of course.
