12.8@ 111.11 on street tires, pump gas, old intercooler , and smaller turbo. I am heading there this friday but I am sure it will prolly rain. I am hoping for real low 12's/high 11's at 120+ with the new setup after some tweaking, this friday will just be a base run.

Just got my 97' se auto on the 12th, and took it out to Atco on friday just to get a baseline.......

17.099 @ 81mph. w/ home depot CAI and cooling fan removed....

On runs 2 and 3 I disconnected the "instant shift kit" plug under the hood to see if it would make a difference...

17.184 @ 81mph....reconnected plug

made 4 runs and couldnt break out of the 17's

Anyone got a 5spd tranny for sale??

A 16.6 my first run and a 16.2 second run with my 5 speed 98 240. With a K&N intake and Apexi dual n1 exhaust. Poor driving is the cause for the 16's, I'll be in the 15's next time i go:)

hey CW, is your car stripped out? do you know the weight offhand?I've gotten a 15.4 @ 87 with no EGR or other emissions stuff, dual-muffler setup, and a modified intake line (it's much shorter). my car is a datsun 510, but it's running a dual cam KA, and race weight is about 2450 w/ driver.

92 le coupe, 15.1@89mph, with street tires, have JWT cams& computer on order, see what difference they make. Going to dyno test these mods as well, have another stock computer to compare against the JWT modified computer, right now car puts out 153.6hp, on a dynojet.

wheelspin through 3rd gear w/ 159.8 whp, yeah right!!! maybe a little spin in first, a nice chirp (slight spin) into 2nd, and a small chirp into 3rd would be beleivable. if you had enough power to have wheels spin through 3rd, i think ya'd turn a better time than 15.1.

True that.My clutch sometimes slips enough to miss the chance to even chirp them entering 2nd. It's weaker than stock but occasionally grabs well enough to not notice through a good run. It doesn't like consequtive runs though. 15.2@92 was obtainable but with a super grippy ACT clutch I know as a fact I wouldn't get more than a barely audible chirp entering 3rd.

Come up to Atlanta Dragway and you'll believe me. It's one of the worst tracks ever made, very slick. Driving on ice would be equally rewarding. On other tracks, like in Gainseville, Fl, and Knoxville, I was fine with spinning, and on some occasions it's hooked up here too, that just happens to be my best time. Average is anywhere in the low 15s with 94-98mph. The tires haven't ever chirped on this track because there is zero traction. I got it completely sideways one night it was so bad, but there's no other 1/4 mile track remotely close to Atlanta. I'd ask that before you spew off with BS comments, you know the full story and who you're talking to. This is the reason I got off the old forums, people cannot show a shred of respect for anyone else on here.

My best run with a 100% stock 118k mile 95 Manual was 16.782@81, that was at 2,800ft (lacr) at Sea level it would be 16.22. Not bad for stock. That was grinding 3rd too, but I have LSD.

I hope to get into the 15s at LACR with Injen CIA, ASP pullys, and Apex dual N1 exhaust, think it's possible for that stuff to drop .7 on my ET? I don't think it's too far fetched.

David.

I ran a best time of 16.30 with my 96. It has a cone filter from CP products and a ractive exhaust, but the exhaust doesne't help for sh** becuase I still have the factory cat on. For my bday last Sunday, I went and bought 8mm Accel Thundersport wires, Bosch Platnium plugs, and an OBX short shifter. This Friday I am going to the track up in Cinci to see what I run now. I will post the times later.
