i got the car back from tuning yesterday and - WHOA

now that i got a better tune on the haltech (still working on the ignition maps abvove 6000rpm) the car is completely different - boost starts to whistle from about 2200rpm and full bosst (9lbs) is rocking by ~4800rpm and then the cams really start to open up and make the engine swing RPM about then so it really really starts to move... so from 4500-8500rpm will be MADNESS.

i know with some more aggresive ignition timing in teh lower rpms and a boost controller i can get ti to spool quicler, so i am very excited about that, and we have not tunned the cams/gears yet either,

i didnt rev it past 5500rpm really - ok well maybe once or twice lol, but my buddy and tuner revved it to about 7000rpm once while he was driving. it felt crazy!!! i blushed like a little child when the wastegate opened and let go a loud metallic scream like a banshee getting raped and the car squatted and jsut TOOK the F0CK oFF

gotta make about 150 more miles then change that oil and give it a lil more revs (7000rpm occasionally for about 150 miles) and do some more tuning at low boost, then change the oil once more. and hook up the Profec B II and i will be off to the dyno for some high boost tuning...

i cant wait to crack the whip at 20+psi on some Evo's and Subarus...
