Hi all,

Assuming no snow is on the ground, do summer tires or all-seasons have better traction in the rain?

I have a set of winter tires, and am trying to figure out if I should get some all-seasons or summer tires.

Thanks!

All season will give you better wet handling performance vs a true high performance summer tire.

Your best option is a high performance all season tire for summer. Do to your location and local unpredictable weather.

I have Michelin PS2 summer tires on year-round and they stick like crazy in the rain...but, then again, "rain" in Southern California is merely a light spritzing compared to what you will see!

Get yourself a nice all-season set of tires!
