The other day when i was installing my 2 front speakers i won off of ebay i noticed something weird. My speaker looked wet. So i felt it and the whole top part of the cone pelled off. I took the speaker out of the casing and noticed about 3 inches of water in the casing. Thankfully the amp is elevated and was pretty dry. The water seems to be the obvious reason for my speaker to sound distorted. I looked on the inside of the door and nothing else was wet just inside the speaker casing. Anyone else have this problem? any suggestions to solve this problem so i dont have to buy new speakers every couple months?
