I am familure with nitrous systems using 8lbs of fuel pressure and Small Block Chevy's but I have a couple questions for someone who has done this before. I need to know what fuel presure regulator will work for the fuel enrichment circuit? Keep in mind the high pressure from the stock fuel system. Also the factory recomended NGK spark plug is a ZFR5E which the next colder plug would be a 6 which I can't find except with a protruded tip (not good). Any recommendations?TIA

try an NGK Vpower TR6 plug. NON Platinum. (they're intended for turbo/blower/nitrous and have a shielded electrode)

AS for the fuel pressure, any kind of regulator you would like to use will work fine. The fuel should run to the solonoid at 15-20 psi on the KA24E

LOL what a brain fart I had. Please forgive my spelling! Ok why such a high pressure to the solinoid? Since you recomend 15-20 PSI then what fuel jet would you use with a .024 nitrous jet?

12-20 isn't actually that high when you think about it.our cars run about 40-48 to the injectors in stock form, so what you're really doing is limiting the pressure to the solonoid to prevent it from sticking due to too much flow.

as for the fuel jet, that woud depend entirely on your setup.you say this is a wet port injection system, is it actually tapped into the runners before the cylinders, or is it just in front of the throttle body with a single nozzle?

This makes a huge difference in jet selection, as too large a fuel jet will simply bog down the motor and eliminate any gains that woulsd have been seen through the use of nitrous.

Yes 15-20 is high compared to recommended 8 PSI. I know you can make it work at 15-20 but then you will be guessing at which fuel jets to use. Yes I have 4 individual black nozzles. Wouldn't the fuel solenoid be able to overcome 35-40 PSI if the N2O solenoid can overcome 900+ PSI? I think the real reason for the regulator is to make fuel pressure consistant throughout the whole shot and every shot.

I don't mean to sound negative....but you don't know the consequences of having NOS, overrated to me...I rather go NA/or forced induction..at least with that you don't look like a kid pushing buttons to go fast. Might I add "ricey" would be the word or "fast and furious wanna be?" No one wanted NOS until that movie came out, don't like it cuz you see what it could do, in the long run you'll be rebuilding your engine, transmission over and over again...
