I have a 2018 Nissan GT-R Track. A great car except for the brakes. Oh they work very well. That is not the problem. However, when I put the car away with wet brakes, the calipers glue themselves to the rotters. I don't understand why a car would be built like that. I don't ever use the park-brake. I let the car idle for up to 30 seconds before shutting it off. I read in the user manual that I should trail-brake prior to parking but don't always remember to do that. Besides replacing pads and rotters, what else can be done?

thanks for any advice you might give, Oly Wa

Specialty cars sometimes have special rules and them saying that in the manual means you should do it or change the pads. If you are looking for a common grocery-getter that has no rules then there are other cars, you picked the car to be different, now be different.

Some specialty vehicles require the drivers to change behavior, it is part of the total experience.
