Were does it go?

I recently rebuilt the engine in my 91 SE, KA24de,and im curious on a couple things. The tube (Metallic) coming off of the Exhaust manifold, were does it go to? I tore it apart (motor) months ago and have finally got it back together. Also if any one has a pic of a vacuum line diagram for the KA24de that would also be appreciated

Hey man, that metallic tube you are speaking of connect to part of the EGR box, the black box for the emissions, personally I took all my EGR stuff out, take out the egr box, plug that metallic tube on the exhaust, and use vacumn caps on all the vacumn lines coming from the trickel box to the motor, its 3 small lines and 1 medium line, on the left side of the motor. just vacumn cap them off and ur done, you dont need to connect that pipe you speak of to anything, just make sure you cap it off or it will sound annoying.

That is once again misinformation. It is NOT the EGR, it is the AIV. Please check the AIV sticky at the top of this section. The EGR is a totally separate unit which should not be removed. Lord.........
