It's the induction kit. YES you need hoses on your car. NO you can't just plug it up. YES your shop guy is a moron. NO you don't have to drain all your oil out for this.

I think it was stated in one of your other threads that if you really know almost nothing about cars, maybe it's best you find a friend, or read a book or something on engine before you start tinkering with your SR.

no joke you can probably ask like autozone or pep boys because that is what my friend did for his civic for those same kind of hoses

i second archerV20. not tryin to be d!ck, but man, you cant rely on everyone else for everything. you need to go to borders or a barns and noble and pick up a book man. introduction to automotive repair, or the FSM would be a great start. its about learning and teaching yourself, learn by reading and doing. Dont just look for someone else to tell you how to do every little thing for YOUR car.
