There were some icy conditions...Needless to say, there was no possibility of recovery, least I could do was point the wheels towards the curb to save my rims from being screwed up royally.

The curb was about 6 in high or so, so no too huge. Didn't impact that hard either, maybe 30 mph or so.

I got out and gave a quick inspection, and everything seemed alright.

Today, I looked at it and noticed that the piece of metal going from the frame to the outside of the front bumper was bent a little.

Underside shot:

I'm guessing that the curb its self hit that, because there was some mud / grass on it.

Is there anything I should be seriously worried about? The car drives fine, not noticable change in the ride, just that thing being bent. Is it replacable, and if so do I need to replace it NOW?

TIA,-Kev

that bar is just to hold the bump in place so it doesn't wobble wobble

but I would recommend you to do an alignment check ASAP to see if any suspension parts are bent but you just can't see it

as far as the wobble wobble bar goes, just bend it back, it's made with soft metal I suspect

those are bent to the point of non function on my 84 z and the fenders stay in place fine. Don't even worry about it. It did it's job and kept the structure of the bumper in tact over the impact. Curb likely hit the bottom of the fender and the fender flex bent that bar and that bar kept the fender from staying that way, so don't worry about it unless you plan on hitting more curbs in the future lol.

Don't sweat the little bracket man. But definitely get your alignment checked.
