blink, you mean low as in slow, or low as in faster than you thought? that sounds about right. thats actually slower than it prolly should be. dang humidity. a friend w/ a auto '95 SX was sprayin 75 shot and got like a 14.6 or sumthin. he just has hotshot intake, and had the N1 single on there. so when all the dew and stuff gets outa there, you'll be flyin redrocket!

yea i have actually. he sounds excited, and said he's gonna try and get both his 240's there. he'll, of course, roll up in the turbo KA. a buddy of his might bring his sprayin '95 auto. if we don't make it to the track, fred (palmerwnd) thinks we might could have another meet, in addition to this one. this one could be to meet everyone, chill and stuff, then another one to go down to the track and race. sounds good to me : )

How many miles do you have on your motor? I was thinking about getting a 30 shot on my 118k mile engine. Is that horrible?

if you guys do this and i still can't make it, promise me you'll be taking lots of pics! the 240 guys never seem to come out for meets and the one time they do i'll probably miss it.

Hey nitrous is just a boost, just like a turbo, and a turbo is being used all the time. with a dry shot of nitrous, its pretty safe.

ok whats the difference between wet and dry shot of nitrous? i've heard of using the "wet kit" cause its better for some reason. i just never really have known the difference in the wet and dry kits. doesn't the wet go in w/ gasoline or sumthing? i dont' know, i heard that from a ricer guy w/ a civic. so he may be BSin. yea bring your digi. camera if you can redrocket, cause i don't have one:( i have the good ole 35mm, take it to wal-mart and get processed, film :D

a wet kit premix's the gas and the nitrous and then a dry kit just sprays straight nitrous

Why nitrous at the track only? I wanted to get a 30 shot with a remote opener just to give me a little kick anytime somone pulls up. I raced a V6 mustang with 3 dudes in it and I barely pulled till like 85 then I started roasting on them. But a damn V6 mustang!! ahhh.. It might not have been stock I guess. Since my friend's new auto V6 only ran 17.5

Gotta remember that power kills autos. Unless you were going to build a race auto. It's only like 3,500 to buy one from Level10.com.. hahaha 3,500!!!!!!!!! But be carefull, I ruined my Truck's tanny like that. My truck's auto costs 1,800 to rebuild, my 240's manual is 800. I'd just save my money for a manual swap if I were you. Even if you get an SR in the future you'd still have to get all the manual parts so it's not too bad.

My friends 95' Neon 4 door SOHC automatic ran 17.9@79 with intake, header, and exhaust. He then used a NX 50 shot system to run 17.0@83. His trap speed was good for his car but it's got nothing off the line. On top of that it doesn't respond well to nitrous. 50 HP!?! Maybe 20... That's what he gets for racing out mom's car.

I can't wait until one of you guys gets scorched by a neon as bad as I did. I've blown the doors off a couple riced out neons.... but I got my a$$ handed to me by a total sleeper. I'd agree... it's pretty pathetic to build up a Neon... but it's even more pathetic when your 240 gets pooped on by one!
