well i went to the track today. here are the results.

temp was 45 deg ftire pressure 27psi on kumho ecsta supra 712

first run

14.366 @104.19 mph, 2.543 60" time

raced a camero that ran a 12.9 @ 104.36 mph, 1.779 60" time

my first run was my fastest ET my fastest trap speed was 106.09 with ET of 14.863 and a 60" of 2.498. This run i spun all of second gear and half of third. Other than that run traction wasnt my biggest problem. I actually was bogging off the line. Mostly because i am used to street conditions where if i launch at all i spin no matter what. I got a total of 4 runs in. On my fourth run i lost all boost pressure right off the line so i let off and coasted to the end. Turns out the actuator arm for the wastegate fell off because the c clip fell off.

Over all i am happy with my trap speeds but i wish i could have gotten a few more runs in. With a better launch i know i could have gotten into the 13s.

Dang,

Nice trap speeds, but I see you siffer from I was suffereing from and that's traction and tjhe infamous bogging. At trap speeds of 106mp, you definitely have a 12 second whip. I know you don't have a LSD either, so having one would help as well. Keep working at it and I'm sure you'll get better and so will your times.

this is what i drive.

1987 Pulsar NX seu12bb ca18det88 pulsar hydroaulic transmissionKevlar clutch disc and dual diaphragm pressure plate(provided by Dee)

rebuilt stock headUnorthodox underdrive lightweight crank pulleyLucas 550cc injectorsNISMO fpr (running 40psi static pressure)z32 TT fuel pumpHaltech E6KGT28RS Spearco 26x6x3" core intercooler2.5" intercooler piping2.5" full exhaust, cat delete

all runs were done at 18psi

hopefull in the spring i will be going back with better tires an LSD and some more practice. I would be happpy with an ET in the low 13s but if i could get the full potential out of my car and break into the 12s that would be awsome.

I hope I'm running 12's in mine. I don't think my turbo's be enough for that kinda power though...

dude, we have damn near close to the same engine. its scary. ive only got the gt28r and an safcII instead of the haltech, but thats it. oh, and my head has some ca16de cams in it but those probably wont do squat.

its nice to know what i can expect. mines in a 240 as you probably know but im peg-legging it too so i dont expect too much from it!

How is the spool time on that gt28rs and what exhaust housing are you using on that??

well its laggier than i expected. I start seeing boost around 3k and is slow spooling up to 4.5k where i probably see about 7-8 psi then it screams to 18 psi by 5k.

i have a feeling i need to adjust the settings on the profec b. i havent gotten to play around with that since the turbo upgrade.

oh i have the .86 AR EX housing which has to do with the spool time.

Couldn't agree with this statement anymore.

That coupled with tuning should definitely put you in the 12's. Work on your 60 foot time. I can guarantee you'll hit 12's if you cut at least a 2.0 60' or below. It's gonna be quite a challenge since your car is fwd, though. Good luck nevetheless.

oh i have the .86 AR EX housing which has to do with the spool time. The .86 exhaust is shooting you in your foot with that turbo. Even with a .64 housing you will see some lag, but it will spool-up to full boost a lot faster than the .86 housing. And if you still need the transmission with the LSD, I still have it.
